SkinMedica’s full line of medical grade skin care products allow you to pamper your skin without setting foot outside. Light a candle, throw on a robe, and combine 2 or more of the following products for an at home spa like experience.
1. How long have you been working at Erasable Inc.?
I've been with Erasable Inc. since July '16, but came on full-time as Office Manager/Medical Aesthetician in September.
2. Tell us a little bit more about what you do at the practice?
Here at Erasable Inc. I'm a jack of all trades--I am the Medical Aesthetician, where I see clients for Hair removal, Acne treatments, Microdermabrasion, SkinMedica Peels, and soon for Microblading! I am also the Office Manager, orchestrating the day to day operations.
3. What is your favorite part of what you do?
My favorite part of what I do is seeing each client leave with a huge smile on their face, feeling more beautiful than when they walked in!
4. It seems like you have a passion for skin and skincare, what made you recognize this?
I've always had a weird obsession with popping and plucking, but when I started working at a MedSpa and performing airbrush tanning, I just knew I had to learn more about the skin and what I could offer to potential clients, family, and friends as an aesthetician.
5. If you could eat any food everyday for the rest of your life, what would it be?
1.How long has Erasable, Inc. been in existence?
-November 2016 marks the 2 year anniversary of Erasable Inc.
2.What made you want to start your own practice?
-In 2010, the military changed its tattoo policy making it much more strict and stringent then it used to be. Suddenly, friends of ours in the military were having difficulty getting promoted or re-joining the army due to the new tattoo regulations. Starting a medical spa was the perfect marriage of my skills as a medical provider and Mike’s business knowledge coupled with our love of the military as Army veterans.
3.What is your favorite thing about what you do?
-My favorite aesthetic procedure is fillers. The immediate effects of the treatment have patients leaving the office feeling so elated and excited from the subtle changes that make them look more youthful and vibrant.
4.You seem to have a different approach as far as making sure your patients are taken care of and developing relationships with them, why do you feel the need to do that?
-It seems to really show in your clients reviews and results. Dr. Pile, Dr. Walter and I share the same passion for patient care. We know that if we put the patient first, the results are sure to come.
5.If you could be any superhero, what would you be?
- Wonder Woman. She is super hot and strong. I would love to rock a bustier and high heel boots to work everyday!

Skin Care Tip: So you’ve just had a chemical peel and now you’re left with dry, irritated, peeling skin—all side effects which are perfectly common post-peel. Now what?
–Treat your skin gently. Instead of using a washcloth on your face switch to a gentler option like a baby washcloth. The rough texture of a wash cloth can be too aggravating for skin that is already irritated. Pair with a gentle cleanser like SkinMedica Facial Cleanser.
–Wear SPF. You’re exposing vulnerable immature cells so you must make sure they don’t get damaged from UV rays. Apply sunscreen daily on the face and neck such as SkinMedica Total Defense and Repair.
–Limit your time outdoors to reduce sun exposure.
–Use soothing products with Chamomile, Azulene and Sea Whip to comfort the skin and reduce redness.
–Use antioxidants. Since the skin has been traumatized, free radical production is high. Suppress the free radical activity with an antioxidant moisturizer. SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator is great for this.
–Pick at the skin! The whole purpose of a chemical peel is to “burn” off the surface dry, damaged cell layers and reveal younger-looking, healthy new cells. But to do this, the skin has to shed and that’s part that people dislike the most. But picking off dry, flaky skin when it may not be ready to come off can result in scarring and unnecessary redness.
–Over-moisturize to compensate for post-peeling dryness. When the skin is peeling and flaky, it’s normal to want to apply heavier moisturizer to alleviate dryness and comfort the irritated skin. The whole purpose of a chemical peel is to peel. So to hydrate peeling skin when it wants to shed off, will not give you the best benefit and prolongs the down-time of the peel. Just use your regular moisturizer and let the skin do what it wants to do.
–Exfoliate. It is so important to not remove the dry skin before its time and to let the skin shed naturally. Facial scrubs and acids will only irritate the irritation further and could result in scarring the skin.
Bottom line: Hands off, protect your skin with SPF, use calming ingredients and let it run its course.

We recently had a radio celebrity stop by our Tampa Bay office to find out exactly how fast and easy laser tattoo removal can be. Rose from the Kane Show was curious about the process and we gave her a live in-person demonstration. She was amazed that the treatment took less than 1 minute and commented on how quickly the tattoo faded right before her eyes. We used the Astanza Duality Q-Switched laser on the 1064nm setting to fade our patient’s tattoo. While every patient’s pain tolerance is different, Aashka required no anesthesia for her third laser tattoo treatment. Have you thought about getting rid of your unwanted ink?
